After a 2-year fight and a credible strike threat, Norway's hairdressers won a major victory: advance sick pay, higher wages and paid unsocial hours. This victory is exceptional in a traditionally non-union sector. We sat down with hairdresser-turned-union leader Vivian Jacobsen to learn about it.
