I have made peace with not regaining my former life. I'm learning to make jewelry. I spend a lot of time meditating. But most days I still feel invisible, even to family members who seem insistent in their denial of my reality. Please share my story.

Except that despite everything I tried to regain my health only made it worse. I finally found a legit long covid doctor just this year. I have some official diagnoses and a provider who actually cares, but no cure.

I was forced to give up my career at what should've been its apex. I told my PCP I thought I might have long covid and she casually agreed, unconcerned. All cases spontaneously resolve in a matter of months, right?

In 2022, I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer, struggled in my first full time admin role in an understaffed school, and became increasingly overwhelmed by a host of physical and mental symptoms that I could no longer blame on menopause.
