I understand that to be true. I'm not a gamer... my idea of a good game is one where you stare at a map the whole time... but the worldbuilding in their games were amateurish and often backwards. Mass Effect was certainly a bright spot, but as I understand the series fell down in later outings.
Show PostYou already know EA was going to do terrible violence to and ultimately kill Bioware. Admittedly, I don't like a single Bioware game, but as far as AAA studios go, it was among the best. Naturally they were going to leave it with its guts in its hands and make another hundred Madden games.
Show PostI actually enjoyed their games immensely. The Mass Effect trilogy was to me what New Vegas is to other trans women.
Show PostSo some of it started really feeling rushed.
Show PostBased on what I know, ME3 was rushed, and didn't get the full ending that the programmers wanted. That was later corrected. Andromeda on the other hand? Yeah, that was definitely a weaker offering. A lot of BioWare's problems, though, stemmed from overpaid suits.
