So my homemade USB to OBD1.5 cable works! I can access fault codes and see all real time data from my 1995 Firebird now. The car runs but not as smooth as I would like it. It doesn't have a check engine light on but the scan does show a fuel injector fault. Ugh aftermarket crap parts!
