I like the Sequels a lot, yes even that one. I’ll pop back whenever another one of these things is worth yapping about. He/Him | 30 | Bi | Latino

Legacy does have some tie-ins to all three of those books which were fun - especially Shadow of the Sith

@authoroux.bsky.social really makes each of the other ST stories connect in Legacy. From the other books to the Kylo Ren comics, even a reference to the Battlefront 2 campaign. It's really well done without distracting from the main story. It sort of addresses exactly that complaint with the ST era

Basically I think making ST era stuff is hard cuz it’s kinda not much to work with. Your main characters arc is a year long and the cool stuff is before TFA and after TROS lore wise
Show PostI tvink you have two issues 1. The ST era shoots itself in the foot by honestly being just kinda a non era it’s hard to really expand it 2. You also have the issue of because the ST was a bit half hazardly made it kinda hard to know what to do with it

Is it weird for me to think Resistance (the animated series) and TLJ probably had more connective tissue with the wider publishing initiative than TRoS did
