Again, it has been difficult to watch the two sets of institutions to which I have devoted ~my entire life (organized 🇺🇸 Judaism & higher ed) almost completely fail in the face of the far right authoritarian assault on 🇺🇸 democracy, national security, & the values those institutions claimed to defend.
