It is clear by now that an LLM can guide a non-professional to a discovery and to write a text with the appearance of a paper, or even write it itself. We have 3 in the last couple days. People mention that journals are receiving quite a lot of them. The numbers are probably going to grow much more.

I don't know what's the right reaction to the fact that, despite the absolutely shameful job of the author, the candidate seems legit. I just ran a quick GP+Transit model out of curiosity and there is indeed a significant a transit-like signal at the reported period #exoplanets #astronomy
