Any kind of "I'm not going to comment on an ongoing process" bland standard answer would have done. Miles better than giving everyone the impression that maybe he's not quite moved on from his last job.

Prof Arday published 33 articles. Some are very highly cited; his citation record blew Nathan Cofnas out of the water; they were not in the same league 😉 Prof Arday had to correct errors in two articles; neither were retracted. 2/33! Minor corrections are not uncommon; every journal has some.
