For three + years, teachers, writers, artists, humanities professors and so many others have been arguing exactly this--that this technology only produces an endless ouroboros of bland, sad, grey slop. But we were told that we were/are luddites, reactionary, old-fashioned, angry, etc etc.

When I first visited NPR HQ in DC as a new employee in 1998, the person I was most excited (and then shocked) to meet was Noah Adams. Excited because his deep, kind, inquisitive voice exemplified what I loved about NPR as a listener, And because I loved his memoir “Piano Lessons.”

The premise of Tommy's attempt at a gotcha question was based in Christian nationalism, sure, but even more so in Christian normalism, i.e., the assumption that "normal" voters are Christians.
