Bright side: FCD’s been one of the best teams in the league since the WC break, tough game on short rest. Dark side: the Sounders put themselves in such a big hole that they’ll have to beat teams like this or better on the road several times if they want to make a run at the cup.

On the balance of his GM tenure (Nov. 2022 - Now), outside of the Leagues Cup run last year, the results have been trending towards us being a mid-table side that is competitive but not a real contender for titles. We should dream bigger than fiscal prudence and just being in the conversation.
