And if a queer story becomes a big franchise, they will scrutinize it in such absurdly high standard that is becomes genuinely discouraging for new queer artists to tell their stories.

An alarming amount of LGBTQ people don’t actually want queer stories. They want the "perfect representation" which, by definition, doesn’t exist and will never exist. They want their gay, lesbian, trans… whatever rep in a big franchise before touching any story made by a queer creator.
