When Zuck announced Llama 4, he said it has 17B parameters and 128 experts. I haven’t heard “experts” in this context before. Maybe others used same term before but I am simply alien to it. So I asked it to Llama 4 on WhatsApp and got this answer:

I’ve made the “hands” modular. There are a few more improvements to come. My initial idea was to explore the possibility of using different materials or colors for the hands. I’m continuing to iterate on this concept.
