@mikhailsimin.bsky.social@mikhailsimin.bsky.social → @curling.ggI feel good about the half-rock double on the far right to the one back tee on my last. So I'm hopeful they keep my flob* and play into the rings. *fucking little outside biter
Show PostYellow needs rocks in play. In the next shot, red is going to take out 4th shot - unless you can do something to change that call. A. A corner guard that exposes all of the yellow rock on the outside. It's hard to peel, and hard to take out yellow. If they guard, they're guarding top 8 and back t.
Show PostB. Come around rock top 8 and corner freeze on rock back t. Super precise, but anywhere past the rock top 8 is decent. Make it perfect, and they'll still probably hit open on, and you have to do it again (double super precise.) Your goal this end is 2, so I like A. B is all chips in.
Show PostDepends how many rocks left and how swingy the ice is. Club level I'd aim to hit the right yellow on the right side, roll under cover ideally freezing on own rock but getting another in house to take away the tap up on the yellow Higher level, probably aim to double the yellows and hope not to jam.
Show PostIt's a hit on the left yellow, ideally with a slight roll under cover, but sticking around is key. Even if you went for the double, they corner freeze to your back one and how do you get it out, so now have to freeze and work a force that way is more risky.
