As a Canadian I didn’t know what “sharp” cheese is. We don’t have it here. Then I realized sharp meant well aged. We call it “old” here. Old cheddar. Another term we don’t use is “seltzer”.We call it “club soda”. And that’s the only time we use the word soda for sparkling drinks. We just call it pop
