As a young student, the unexpected cost of Rebel’s #emergency care is more than Shelby can afford while also managing everyday expenses. #urgent #veterinary #vancouver #cats #sos #britishcolumbia #canada #bc #GVRD #humanesociety #catmom

This is of course great news, but it’s more than troubling that there was EVER government funding for this atrocity.

. i am very happy to hear this. horse racing is cruel. this defunding should deliver the coupe de grace to thoroughbred racing in BC. i hope that all the horses get comfortable retirement and DO NOT get shipped overseas to end up as food!! 🤞🏼🐎🙏🕊

The @vancouverhumane.bsky.social 's McVitie program agreed to pay for my late cat's ultrasound last year. Sadly, she passed away three days before the u.s. (high-grade G.I. lymphoma). The funds helped another #BC #pet in need. #cats #dogs #veterinarycosts #britishcolumbia #sos
