HMS Berwick began the war in the West Indies, but returned to home waters. Following service off Norway and in the Med, in Dec 1940 she engaged the cruiser Admiral Hipper in defence of a convoy. Berwick spent much of the war covering Arctic convoys and operations off Norway. 📷 IWM A 16318/A 30383
