NYC is probably about to build a single car free skyscrapper neighborhood with close to this population (hopefully one day the Netherlands will be as car free as that). But damn if I am not jealous of sane crane policy.

In my 20s, I'd read the occasional conservative think tanker on land use, housing, transport (Kotkin, O'Toole come to mind) and wonder how they got the way they were. Lyman Stone and Judge Glock's careers helped clarify how the RW make work think tank industry curdles peoples brains.
