Update: Another X-ray taken today and I don't need surgery. Yay!! It's healing okay. I am incredibly fortunate. Must remain non-weightbearing. He ordered a nerve conduction study due to nerve damage. Long road of physical therapy ahead, but hopefully it will help with the pain. I feel so relieved.

that is actually insane. I have officiated a few weddings myself and unless the couple requests otherwise, I have kept the entire ceremony to like 20 minutes TOTAL. Half an hour, TOPS. There's like 4 people who care about all that stuff, the rest of them just wanna party.
