the old tank engine played on the turntable for a bit, before he grabbed some trucks of his own and headed off to the coal mines. he knew it wasn't necessary, but he liked to make sure *all* the stations on the island had plenty of coal for their engines. it was a tedious job, but he had the time.

he seems to have been thinking about something as well, before... he looks at thomas for a few seconds, then races off to a turntable and comes back facing thomas instead of being beside him, making direct eye contact. "kid...i think we might be related. you sees it too, right? the resemblance?"

timothy was full on coal the entire time, and easily catches up, looking mildly annoyed, before he sees the expression on thomas' face. "..i say somethin' wrong, kid? didn't mean to strike a nerve or nothin'." despite tim's previously cocky attitude, he seems genuinely worried about thomas.
