Got too far into my dome today after D&D - the kids seemed disconnected & disinterested. Then one of the moms messaged me after & said her kid had so much fun at my table & talked about it the whole drive home. Phew!

Today's organizer for D&D told the kids "This is a cooperative game, we won't be having any theft from your team or attacks on your party!" And, you know what? That was great. You need to spell things out for 10-12 year old's or they will go off the rails.

It’s legally impossible. They could sellout to America–even more, and invite a military presence, sure. But none of it can be legitimized without First Nations approval. I see an endless civil war that by comparison will make The Troubles in Ireland look like a parking dispute at a Canadian Tire.
