This school is near to me. They charge 4k-7k a term and have nearly 400 kids there. Somehow they had close to a million quid of debt and financial struggles going back years... Yet they blamed the VAT increase. I'd probably send in the forensic accountants because it doesn't add up at all.
Show PostNot going to quote tweet the discourse, but the problem with most recent scifi books is they try so hard to be current and grounded, that they feel embarrassingly dated even a couple years after publication. That, or they are performatively edgy whilst being heartless and bland. Not great for teens.
