Maybe it won't, and as humans we intuitively feel drawn to or see the beauty in the realness of the biological systems? But, as someone who loves imaging and microscopy, its certainly a lot to ponder and some sadness in it.

3D printers have now become zero-skill infrastructure when connected to an Ai. OpenSCAD + PrusaLink + Claude is a miracle in my lab. Highly recommend it. I am free.
