find joy. create. play a game. talk about your interests. coping will become a byproduct of whatever you enjoy but if a community is centered around something that exists as a self destructive temporary relief, then it is a fundamentally flawed community. fuck slitsky. encourage love and recovery.

so like I think I was probably right to seize the momentum and quit drinking the day I decided to do it but there’s another me that gave myself a month’s notice and tried a bunch of stuff I’d been meaning to try and buzzballs are high on that list

I'm the only one in my family that doesn't. I would bum one or two while drinking, but it was never anything more than that. I just liked doing it. The rest of my family are all still smokers. Been trying to get all of them to quit for years but the addiction is strong
