Of COURSE I had just settled into bed at 10:30pm when I get a text from a frequent-flyer number from Turnip colony. Of COURSE it’s a two-week old lone bottle baby and I have to be on a plane at 7am & there is no one who can intake. Of course I went to get him, but like… come on, universe, why ??!!

a fashion designer once told me she wished people bought clothes like they buy furniture. when you buy a couch, you know you're going to live with it for 10+ years. clothing purchases are often much more impulsive; the items treated as disposable.
