#OnThisDay 20 years ago, supporters of @caatuk.bsky.social surrounded DESO, the UK government's arms sales unit. It was closed down the next year. Though ti was replaced with a different unit, it was a setback for the arms firms. I'm proud to have been part of it! caat.org.uk/news/2006-10...
