If a piece is sent back for revision, we also help shepherd it through that process and determine if the concerns of reviewers have been adequately addressed by submitted revisions. This is all extra volunteer work on my part, not required by my job, but just part of how academic publishing works.

As co-editors of the Games Series, it's basically on Ashley & I -- with advice from our Editorial Board -- to find & invite the right group of reviewers for each game, who can evaluate the game on its own terms, provide useful feedback, and determine if it's a good fit for Promptuary.

I really wish there was a way to collect every paper review you've ever written into a little compendium and have it published after your death as a memoir. I feel like it would do better to chart my descent into madness than any book I could write.
