The really 'sad' ones were some where we know who the people in the pictures are, but in the decades that have passed, we now have no contacts to share the scanned picture of some parents or grandparents with.

Show PostThis is very true. During COVID, I did a lot of scanning of old family pictures that my sister had. While I got a lot of old pictures of family that were very cool to have, we also had a lot of 'who is this?' pictures.
