There is a prophetic post-apocalyptic book that has been recommended to me many times. I finally read it this past week and am so underwhelmed. When white authors imagine collapse, do they really not take into account how organized some of the Indigenous and Black communities are??

I sympathize with Americans wanting to say "not me, I didn't vote for Trump," but I don't agree. It's important to understand that to the rest of the world, you're all just America. Yes, YOU elected him whether you individually voted for him or not. This is just American arrogance and selfishness.
