thinking about how when i was in high school, they had a "teen court" consisting of volunteer teenagers so when a minor was arrested, they were then tried in front of a jury of their own (small town) peers that would decide the severity of their sentence. what the hell was that.

it’s new year’s eve and i’m just so grateful to be clean and sober today. there’s nothing in my life that a drink or a drug will make better and that is a gift i’m not ready to give up. happy new year’s eve, friends. sending all my love, and i look forward to seeing how you shine in 2025.

finally got in
