Not sure, but when Barry sang backing vocals on one of Steve’s songs last year, he said Barry was going into the kitchen and heard them. He came in and sung them what he thought should go in between verse and chorus. He wanted the singer to sing it, but they made him do it.

The studio is in the wing where I think Linda's parents used to live? It is red. At one point Stephen posted the view from the studio and you could see the circle (is it a mosaic?) and the view beyond. The studio door is a few feet from the circle, right?

I agree! I’ve seen Stephen give a tour of the studio too. It’s all red and no windows in sight. More guitars on the walls than you can possibly imagine. The funny thing is, the door is right next to the kitchen door. It used to be the kid’s playroom. They used that and another room behind it.

Oh, I'm not judging! I'm glad he has the best spot in the world from which to watch TV. It just cracks me up because it looks like some school multi-purpose room and if you only knew what was behind the curtains! You can see it in some of the CBS Sunday AM interviews over the years.

I think I read he keeps them closed so he can see the TV. It probably keeps it cooler too. I have heavy light colored drapes (not red) on my patio doors. The afternoon sun beats on there from noon until sundown and I have to close them in the summer to keep it cool and also so I can see the TV.
