Throwback to that time that I applied to work at a comic book store, and sent in a letter of recommendation from Lex Luthor. Sadly, did not get the job (it went to someone with previous experience already had), but it's still a fun memory, AND got complimented by the person interviewing me.

Every single post/video about comic book movies, or whichever other films are randomly drawn into the culture wars that they now have to contend with, reminds me of this guy Because it’s people operating with no actual insight or information, getting loud and angry, bothering people who don’t care.

My favorite one of these that I’m sure I’ve talked about before was at a Blockbuster back in the UK some guy was ranting to the clerk about The Dark Knight and how “they ruined the movie” (it hadn’t come out yet) because “they’re changing the ending since Heath Ledger died and now the Joker dies!”
