People will manipulate the child/adult terms to make things sound more or less dire. If they want to excuse cis male abuse of girls, the girls will magically become women. If they want to monster trans people, the trans girls will become big men, or the women in sport will become tiny girls.

Oddly enough, in my case, I worked full time from 15 on. I helped support my family. My mom gambled, drank, and was financially irresponsible, even though she made over $125, 000. I worked 2 jobs to put myself through college with no help from either parent. Graduated Summa Cum Laude.

If you didn't want people to make assumptions then you could've avoided all of this by not making the post, just saying. Some thoughts can stay as inside thoughts or thoughts between you and your therapist. You're not required to put your frustrations on blast to the public.
