Rewatching The Mandalorian and so bummed by how great this series could have been if it had just been Have Gun, Will Travel in space. The first half of Season 1 felt so much like a sci-fi 50s western serial and it was perfect. Filoni and Favreau could have gotten 10 seasons out of that formula.
