If we narrow in on the GW34 clashes, we can get a bit more clarity, as there are only 12 possible combinations now (some sets of semi finalists produce the same set of fixture clashes). Note, some of these can still fit into GW34 midweek so are not confirmed blank fixtures even if there is a clash.
Show PostThe most likely single permutation is actually less likely than it was a round ago, due to some evenly balanced FA cup QF ties, and more uncertainty on where the fixtures may go. The landscape is still very unclear (and will be until GW30/31).
Show PostDGW33 should still be the biggest double. However, with NEW-CRY now in GW32, and an NFO Monday game obstructing GW33 midweek for them (Thursday still possible), then it may not be as big as before. The odds of BGW34 being smaller have also gone up. A small DGW35 seems a little more plausible now.
