People who say “but what if a disabled person orders food” don’t seem to understand these things put wheelchair users, babies in strollers and pedestrians in general at risk in public space we all pay for and agree should be accessible to diverse humans and human activity.

PITT got rid of those things. The robot doesn’t know what to do if they encounter a handicapped person using a street corner sidewalk ramp. Almost got a person in a wheelchair run over by a car. Who pays for that if it happens? UBER?

These companies make money through our infrastructure/commons without ever paying for it. Philly has plenty of ways of getting food to disabled people without them.
