This is the issue when the government tries to regulate consensual sexuality between adults. The more legislators move away from relatively bright, easily demonstrable, lines (consent, age), the more likely you end up with porno copypasta that can be interpreted broadly and enforced arbitrarily.

Not gonna jump into Flowers' mentions, because I agree with him and not the person he's arguing with. But yeah, this seems blatantly obvious. If "wages are going up" means "people are being paid more dollars per hour", that can be objectively true and yet meaningless.

That's not "sociological sentiment", that's basic economics. Doesn't matter if you get paid more dollars per hour if your rent goes up by twice as much as your wages do, and gas costs four times as much.
