When I worked at CNN, Christiane Amanpour was one of the only people whose presence in the elevator made more junior staffers absolutely freak out. A big loss for the company, but I am confident she will go on to other great things.

i have roots in the south and senator warnock is spot-on. yes there are lots of asshole conservatives but there are also lots of disenfranchised voters and others who feel hopeless, and there’s nothing more inert than a demoralized citizen. GIVE THEM A REASON TO FIGHT AND THEY WILL.
