last FC was the point I came to a similar realization, sitting at a big table with everyone vibing/drawing was all i really needed. I had this shame about not doing as much as I possibly could that was available at cons initially but it was more exhausting than fulfilling, simple felt better!

I think I am close to aging out of my convention phase. What they can offer now is not really what I'm interested in, and I suppose it was somewhat inevitable as they got bigger and bigger. I know I'm in the minority, but I'll take real actual connection over crazy chaos 100 out of 100 times.
