ex_cldr reads straight from CLDR data, so the same call can return the name in the viewer's locale too, like Duitsland for DE when the user is Dutch. Handy for a country picker in a multilingual Phoenix app.

Thanks for the share, Pieter. Since that article is the 1.5 release post: the doctor has moved on a fair bit. Its pivot rule fired 69 times across twelve real schemas and 56 were wrong, so I narrowed it in 1.10 and it now fires 14. 1.11 added a rule for foreign keys pointing at the wrong table.
