lot of discourse about slop decomps lately so I just want to give my general stance on them: i think if used right, AI can be a useful tool for doing tedious tasks that don't require much creative input (or at all) such as updating codebases, etc. but fuck you if you just make AI do everything 🖕

They put out a vague assurance a few days ago that the terms were updated too early and that they would work with legal counsel to revise them, but they're still being vague on what license will apply to runs from October 1st onwards, and that sets a dangerous precedent
