Driving back from the pharmacy this morning, quiet, twisty road, came up behind a cyclist, wearing earphones and no helmet. And you know what? It made NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL to my ability to slow down, wait until it was safe, then overtake on the other side of the road. Incredible, ain't it?

Just a reminder that an electric car is an improvement over a conventional petrol or diesel-powered car, but we'll all be much, much better off if we can move towards urban planning that allows people to walk and cycle instead of being car-dependent.
