My dad died shortly after he turned 40, so I’m pleased to announce I’m 40 today and looking forward to getting older. I keep being told this is going to be a great time of my life, better than anything before. I believe it. Here’s to entering my crone era.

I'm torn, on the one hand I just finished putting together my latest one-page #ttrpg, but it's Christmas themed. Do I wait until November to release it? I'd like to be able to get it out there and relatively known so people can put together holiday games (scheduling: the real BBEG) but it's October!

Every time I sing along with Billy Joel's "For the Longest Time" and get to where the lyrics are, "I said to myself, hold on to your heart," I picture that guy from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom ripping the guy's heart out and chanting, "Kali ma!" Every time.
