My spirit animal is Lyndon Baines Johnson. He believed that government should lift up and care for those who need it. A big man who used his physical presence to influence and persuade people. I am the biggest hater of Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump responded Wednesday on Truth Social after reports that Charlie Kirk, MAGA activist and Trump ally, was shot at an event at Utah Valley University.

The attack on Charlie Kirk is disgusting, vile, and reprehensible. In the United States of America, we must reject political violence in EVERY form.

I'm just shocked and horrified to learn of the Charlie Kirk shooting. Violence is immoral and never solves anything I've been working all day on a column about the rapidly worsening climate for free speech on college campuses. This is only going to make things 1,000 times worse

“Charlie Kirk shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, Sept. 10…” Terrible. Violence like this should always be condemned and there is no excuse for it. people.com/charlie-kirk...
