After almost a year trying to get the components together (and the console itself from my mom’s apartment in Canada) today I finally finished installing a USB C power supply and MODE ODE in my Dreamcast! The results - via RGB Scart cable through Retrotink4K - are breathtakingly crisp and colourful.

Not to mentioned wonderfully quiet. I also replaced the stock fan with a Noctua, and without those old GDRoms spinning, the console is whisper quiet. Except the classic system battery empty! beep on startup…I suppose the next mod I need to do is the one that makes that easier to replace.
