This ad by Microsoft not at all "genuinely honest" because the ad's intent is to lull us into thinking the tech bros care about social justice and equity - when what they want above all else is profit and control of the society. This is the way neoliberalism was sold to us. Don't fall for it again.

the money/scam thing is definitely alarming, but also just the addictive and isolating nature of scrolling endlessly is bad enough, even without (a lot of) money to lose to scammers
