Show Post#Tynemouth Foundation stone for the Master Mariners Asylum, Tynemouth Road in Tynemouth, laid on this day 18th October 1837. The 3rd Duke of Northumberland gave the land, the foundation stone was laid in 1837 and the building completed in 1840.
