For me the age thing wasn't an issue (you know this from my Weiss Kreuz fic recs) but it just didn't make sense. She wasn't attached to him like that?? Wufei and Duo was cute but they truly never had a chance to be a really solid ship in the fandom 🫠

I never got the feeling that people ever cared about Wufei/Sally as a ship, only that they needed to pair Wufei up too but the other pilots were taken (Duo and Heero, Trowa and Quatre) and for some reason Treize and Zechs weren't consistent options within the fandom (bcuz they were paired up, ig?)

À lot of people are mean and miserable on social media because they can't figure out how to fix what's broken in their lives and have decided to lash out at strangers they feel particularly parasocial about. They won't ever realize that's what they're doing, but... I see it. 😔
