Yes, my experience was similar! It was so neat to come to the podcast with no context whatsoever and try to work out what was going on!

Perfect way to describe it! When I first started listening, I wasn't as familiar with Dave's other work, so I actually thought the characters were real people. Like I never literally believed the fantasy elements, but I did wonder if the people interviewed were real. It was brilliantly made.
Show PostI love hearing your + Nina's funny and gentle insights and responses. It makes my reading experience much richer, and it makes me feel like Moomins readers across the generations and across the world are reading "in community" with each other!
Show PostI've been reading the Moomins books according to the seasons (i.e., Moominsummer Madness in August, Moominland Midwinter in January, etc.) and then following up each book with the matching Podgoblin's Hat episode 💜
Show PostIt's so wonderful to hear you're making more of the podcast! No pressure whatsoever, but I'm very much looking forward to it whenever it comes out
