#GSA2026 recap: 3/4 of my lab group presented their work on Newberry Volcano this year, and my other student won the Brunton giveaway! I’m very fortunate to have a stellar group of researchers-in-training, and I can’t wait to see where each of these fine students lands next!

My little Paco crossed the rainbow bridge last night. We’ve been so sad. He’s been in my life 30 years. I’ll miss you so much my sweet old man

Been a hard few morning without my little paco. Birds are so special, he’d share breakfast with me and my partner every day and it’s so quiet now. He loved my partner Jacob 😭
