is this part of the el nino? at one stage I read it was going to bring rain but I don’t think that’s correct, I think El Nino brings drought, fires, and related calamities. Prepare for the worst summer ever, if you can: this El Nino is supposed to be the worst on record since 1877-78.…

No doubt El Nino is a factor, though it's more complicated than that. Every event has different impacts, but we tend to remember those El Nino years with particularly bad outcomes. The seasonal outlooks suggest the current dry trend will ease by November (we just have to get there first).

They told me, without testing anything, that my blood vessels harden/stiffen with age so they are too inflexible to allow to even pressures and that lifelong meds were critical. I was feeling fine. I had gone to the GP for a shingles jab and have felt various levels of shithouse ever since.

My diet was good (no junk, no sugar, no prepared foods) and I was walking 3km of hills daily, which was pretty good for 70+ which is why I acquiesced. I am interested in how to do better and help others too.

Great to know! I had same convo with my GP who arc'ed-up and ranted at me about alternative meds as if they were the same thing as lifestyle changes. I was 70. I ended up on the pills and have never had a day feeling better than 90% since. I miss days with "bounce and joy". Wish I'd arc'ed.
